Job Requirements

  • Arrives to work on time as scheduled and ready to work
  • Follows Miller's Ale House policies including time recording such as clocking in and out and responding to end-of-shift prompts
  • Interacts with guests to provide the highest level of customer service and create exceptional guest experiences by adhering to company service standards
  • Works directly with team members to fulfill all guests' needs and requests promptly
  • Maintains clean and sanitized work areas
  • Washes hands every 20 minutes during shifts
  • Supports other front-of-house functions as needed
  • Communicates positively with team members and management
  • Provides exceptional service throughout the entire shift
  • Completes end-of-shift side work
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age unless otherwise dictated by state law

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate well and work alone as well as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be at least 18 years old unless otherwise dictated by state law
  • Commitment to providing exceptional guest service
  • Familiarity with food handling and sanitation standards
  • Positive attitude and a friendly manner

Job Duties

  • Assists host/hostess with greeting and seating guests
  • Assists servers with making and delivering non-alcoholic beverages
  • Assists with providing guests with non-alcoholic drink refills
  • Assists servers in running food to and from guests while ensuring proper food handling guidelines are followed and guests' expectations are met
  • Acknowledges all guests within five feet with a smiling, friendly manner
  • Provides immediate responses to guests' requests and inquiries
  • Assists servers with performing table quality check back (2-bite/2-minute) to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Cleans tables and spills throughout the guests' visit
  • Assists servers in pre-bussing dishware as guests finish eating
  • Provides final removal of all plate and glassware after guest departure
  • Resets all tables promptly after guest departure including perfect silverware setup and cleanliness detail
  • Collects bus tubs at quality assurance and server stations
  • Empties trash cans in the restaurant
  • Ensures proper food handling and sanitation of work areas
  • Accomplishes end-of-shift side work including stocking and preparing work areas for the next shift
