Job Description
Twin Peaks is a well-established restaurant brand known for its mountain lodge-themed dining experience combined with a friendly atmosphere and high-quality service. Operating as franchised locations, each Twin Peaks restaurant is owned and operated by independent franchisees who maintain their own unique wage and benefit programs. This allows each franchise to cater effectively to its local community while upholding the high standards synonymous with the Twin Peaks name. The franchise model provides flexibility for business owners, creating a dynamic work environment where employees can gain valuable experience within a reputable and growing hospitality brand.
The janitor busser role at Twin Peaks is integral to the seamless operation of the restaurant. This position entails maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining and kitchen areas, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests and team members alike. Team members in this role are expected to uphold extreme standards of hygiene and discipline, reflecting the pride Twin Peaks takes in its facilities. The janitor busser supports the team by organizing stations, managing waste, and assisting with cleaning duties to keep the restaurant presentable and sanitary during and after service hours.
Uniform standards are strictly observed, with specific guidelines for appearance, including wearing a clean Twin Peaks black hat, maintaining cleanliness in grooming, and adhering to dress codes that reflect professionalism and respect for the brand. This role also requires adherence to health and safety protocols, compliance with sanitation regulations, and active participation in training programs designed to reinforce Twin Peaks' commitment to quality and safety.
The position is suitable for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, possess good communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a team. Prior experience as a janitor or busser is preferred, alongside a basic understanding of cleaning and sanitation procedures relevant to restaurant operations. English communication skills are necessary for understanding instructions and workplace policies.
Physically, the role demands standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds. The working environment may include exposure to kitchen fumes, cleaning chemicals, and wet conditions, necessitating attentiveness to safety and health guidelines. Training is provided to ensure new hires can perform their duties confidently and in compliance with local and state regulations, including any required food or alcohol service certifications.
This janitor busser position at Twin Peaks offers an opportunity to join a respected restaurant franchise where teamwork, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction are paramount. The role serves as an excellent entry point for individuals seeking to develop their career in the hospitality industry, with scope for growth and learning within a supportive and disciplined work culture.
