Discover more sun and more fun at TradeWinds Island Resorts, the perfect tropical beachfront paradise for an unforgettable getaway. Nestled along the gorgeous Gulf Coast on St. Pete Beach, one of the nation's top-ranked beaches, TradeWinds offers two connecting resorts just steps away from one another, catering to all types of vacationers—from family fun and romantic retreats to group getaways. Guests enjoy delicious dining, beachfront bars, relaxing comforts, and an endless array of activities that ensure a memorable experience. Highly respected within the hospitality industry, TradeWinds Island Resorts has been recognized as a Tampa Bay Times Top Workplace for seven consecutive years.
TradeWinds Resort is currently seeking a dedicated Busser to join their vibrant hospitality team. This hourly position involves greeting guests promptly and maintaining exceptional cleanliness and order within the dining areas to enhance the overall guest experience. The ideal candidate will prepare dining areas before guests arrive, decorate tables according to established protocols, place tableware and condiments appropriately, and remove dirty dishes and utensils efficiently. Additionally, the Busser is responsible for cleaning and resetting tables immediately after guests leave to maintain a welcoming and pristine environment. Maintaining strict health and safety regulations in all kitchen and dining areas is paramount.
This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand and walk for eight or more hours per shift, safely carry trays weighing up to 25 pounds, and lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The Busser must be prepared to work in Florida's warm climate, demonstrating endurance and a positive attitude throughout shifts. Because the hospitality industry often experiences peak activity during evenings, weekends, and holidays, open availability during these times is essential. While prior food service experience within resort settings is preferred, a commitment to excellent guest service and teamwork is equally critical.
Joining the TradeWinds team means becoming part of a respected, dynamic resort operation that values its employees and strives to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The Busser position offers an opportunity to connect with guests, contribute to a smooth and enjoyable dining service, and grow within a leading hospitality company that prioritizes innovation, quality, and vibrant workplace culture.
