Job Description
HomeGrown is a unique and vibrant restaurant that stands apart from typical dining establishments by embedding kindness and care into every aspect of its operation. Located primarily in Northwest Arkansas, HomeGrown has quickly become one of the hottest breakfast and brunch spots in the area. Since its inception in 2017, it has expanded to several locations, owing much of its success to a philosophy that champions local sourcing, community involvement, and a welcoming atmosphere. As part of the reputable Thrive Restaurant Group, a family-owned company with over 50 years of history in the restaurant business, HomeGrown is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of its team members, guests, and the communities it serves.
The dining concept emphasizes freshness and quality, proudly partnering with local food purveyors, dairy farmers, and other local suppliers to ensure that every meal served meets the highest standards. This commitment to local and sustainable food is complemented by a culture that values respect, teamwork, and personal growth. HomeGrown is known not only for its culinary excellence but also for fostering an inclusive and uplifting work environment where employees feel appreciated and motivated.
HomeGrown is currently seeking motivated individuals to join its team as Bussers, a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of the front of house. As a Busser at HomeGrown, you will ensure that the dining room is clean and welcoming by efficiently pre-bussing and bussing tables, as well as supporting other front of house staff. This position is unique in that it operates strictly during daytime hours, with shifts ending by 3:30 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule without evening or dinner shifts. The hourly role includes participation in tip sharing, offering competitive pay that rivals or exceeds traditional restaurant jobs. Full-time team members also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, vision, dental and medical insurance.
The role of Busser is more than just cleaning tables; it is about contributing to an environment where every guest experiences kindness and excellent hospitality. You will be an essential part of a team that values communication, efficiency, and cleanliness. The job requires physical stamina and attention to detail as you will be responsible for keeping the dining area sanitized, restocking supplies, and assisting with daily restaurant maintenance and cleaning projects. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced setting and be eager to engage with their team and guests in a positive and professional manner.
HomeGrown provides a supportive atmosphere that encourages learning and professional development. Employees have the chance to gain insights into hospitality management and customer service within a family-oriented company culture. If you are passionate about serving people and want to work in a place that respects your time and efforts while helping you grow, HomeGrown is the ideal workplace. Join us and help turn everyday kindness into a compelling dining experience for the good people of Northwest Arkansas.
