Job Requirements
- Pursuing a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Previous restaurant experience desired
- Valid driver’s license due to possible use of golf carts
- Unexpired Arizona food and liquor certifications
- Must meet age requirements to handle and serve alcoholic beverages
- Regular attendance is required
- Ability to work additional hours including weekends
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple competing tasks and demands
- Ability to report to work on time prepared to perform duties
- Conform with safety standards and use appropriate safety equipment
- Follow personal hygiene guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Pursuing a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Previous restaurant experience desired
- Outstanding coordination and multi-tasking abilities
- Possess strong interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional service should be friendly approachable and attentive
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong teamwork and collaboration ability to collaborate with kitchen staff servers and other restaurant staff
- Strong communication skills including effective listening
- Highly organized to manage multiple tables
- Flexible and adaptable to changes in workflow menu items staff etc
- Ability to remain calm during peak hours or challenging guests or members
- Demonstrated working knowledge of food handling regulations
- Ability to use employee self-service on companys human resources/payroll database
Job Duties
- Set up tables with appropriate utensils napkins condiments etc before guests are seated
- Provide friendly and attentive service to guests answering questions or notifying the Server or management with any concerns guests may have
- During meal service provide attentive service to assigned table(s) removing used dishes filling water etc
- Clean tables including removing used dishes glasses and utensils from tables after guests have finished their meals
- Sweep under the tables as well as the general restaurant areas
- Wipe down tables and chairs to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards
- Restock items such as napkins condiments etc as needed throughout shift
- Provide assistance to Server by bringing them additional items they may need for their tables
- Assist Server as needed with food delivery especially with large parties and during peak periods
- May be scheduled to assist in setting up banquet tables service food or other tasks related to events
- Participate in pre-shift meetings taste tests and training
- Conform with all safety standards and use of all appropriate safety equipment
- Follow good personal hygiene guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
