Job Requirements

  • Pursuing a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Previous restaurant experience desired
  • Valid driver’s license due to possible use of golf carts
  • Unexpired Arizona food and liquor certifications
  • Must meet age requirements to handle and serve alcoholic beverages
  • Regular attendance is required
  • Ability to work additional hours including weekends
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Ability to report to work on time prepared to perform duties
  • Conform with safety standards and use appropriate safety equipment
  • Follow personal hygiene guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Pursuing a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Previous restaurant experience desired
  • Outstanding coordination and multi-tasking abilities
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional service should be friendly approachable and attentive
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration ability to collaborate with kitchen staff servers and other restaurant staff
  • Strong communication skills including effective listening
  • Highly organized to manage multiple tables
  • Flexible and adaptable to changes in workflow menu items staff etc
  • Ability to remain calm during peak hours or challenging guests or members
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of food handling regulations
  • Ability to use employee self-service on companys human resources/payroll database

Job Duties

  • Set up tables with appropriate utensils napkins condiments etc before guests are seated
  • Provide friendly and attentive service to guests answering questions or notifying the Server or management with any concerns guests may have
  • During meal service provide attentive service to assigned table(s) removing used dishes filling water etc
  • Clean tables including removing used dishes glasses and utensils from tables after guests have finished their meals
  • Sweep under the tables as well as the general restaurant areas
  • Wipe down tables and chairs to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards
  • Restock items such as napkins condiments etc as needed throughout shift
  • Provide assistance to Server by bringing them additional items they may need for their tables
  • Assist Server as needed with food delivery especially with large parties and during peak periods
  • May be scheduled to assist in setting up banquet tables service food or other tasks related to events
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings taste tests and training
  • Conform with all safety standards and use of all appropriate safety equipment
  • Follow good personal hygiene guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned
