Job Requirements
- High school diploma or foreign equivalency
- Minimum of one year previous restaurant experience in land-based or shipboard operation
- Minimum of one year previous experience selling and serving wine and other beverage products
- Intermediate to advanced level English verbal and writing skills
- Courses and/or training in safety, environmental, public health and sanitation regulations and procedures
- Must be physically able to stand and walk long distances
- Must be able to lift more than 25 pounds
- Must pass basic safety course
- Able to work 7 days a week
- Ability to live in close quarters with cabin-mates
- Must participate in emergency life saving procedures and drills
- Must be able to adjust to changing schedules and assignments

Job Duties
- Turning over tables and promoting beverage service in the Buffet
- Responsible for safeguarding all equipment and materials required for operation
- Turning of tables and capitalizing on beverage service in the Buffet
- Perform other related duties as assigned or as directed
- Must be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and the SEMS, and carry out the policies and procedures appropriate for his/her position
- Escorts guests and/or resets tables as assigned in Main Dining Rooms
- Assist Waiters and Assistant Waiters with stocking, cleaning and maintaining waiter stations throughout service
- Ensures that the restaurants are properly cleaned at the end of each meal period
- Set up Crew Mess rooms with all food, beverage product, condiments, sign stands, utensils, china, glassware and silverware prior to each service
- Maintain food line and cleanliness of tables in Crew Mess throughout service
- Clean and sanitize food line, beverage dispensing machines, and restock all of the china, glassware and silverware at the end of each service
- Set up assigned Buffet station with required equipment and mis-en-place prior to service
- Clean tables in assigned Buffet station throughout service
- Complies with sequence of service for beverage to ensure timeliness of service
- Perform side work such as silverware roll-ups, emptying trash, and stocking/cleaning beverage station
- Perform other jobs as assigned including manning non-cooking buffet action stations such as carving or dessert station
