The role of a Buss Person at Pebble Beach Company is integral to maintaining the high standards of service and guest satisfaction that define the company. This position involves a variety of responsibilities centered around clearing and resetting tables, stocking all necessary supplies, and assisting with setup and cleanup duties throughout the resort’s dining venues. The Buss Person plays a critical role in ensuring that dining areas are pristine and ready to accommodate guests promptly, contributing directly to the seamless flow of dining service operations. Their duties include setting tables meticulously with tablecloths, flatware, china, and centerpieces, followed by efficient clearing and resetting to meet the fast-paced demands of the resort’s restaurant service. Furthermore, the Buss Person is responsible for managing ice bins, assisting servers during meal services, and ensuring compliance with all company health and safety policies. The role demands effective communication skills and a food safety certification, as well as a high school diploma or equivalent. Employees at Pebble Beach Company enjoy exclusive discounts at all company restaurants, retail outlets, spas, and hotels, along with employee golf privileges such as tee times and tournaments. Complimentary meals during shifts and career advancement opportunities make this role particularly attractive for individuals seeking to grow within a world-class hospitality environment.
