The role of a Buss Person within PebbleBeach Company is essential to ensuring a smooth dining experience for guests at any of the luxury resort's venues. The Buss Person's primary responsibility entails clearing and resetting tables efficiently to maintain a pleasant and inviting environment. This position involves stocking supplies and assisting both guests and staff as needed throughout the shift. The job requires involvement in setting tables with items like tablecloths, flatware, china, and centerpieces; greeting guests promptly with beverages like coffee, juice, or bread depending on the time of day; and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of service stations. The candidate will be tasked with checking glassware and silver for cleanliness, polishing silverware, keeping ice bins full, preparing coffee, and stocking coffee cups to ensure readiness for service. Furthermore, the Buss Person will clear and carry trays of dirty dishes, attend to spills quickly, assist servers during meals, and be instrumental in closing duties which include cleaning and restocking supplies. They will also aid in the set-up and break down of special events and buffets, handling furniture and food set-up as necessary. This position demands compliance with all company safety, health, and general policies.

Job Duties
- Set tables including tablecloth flatware china and centers
- Clear tables and reset at a quick pace
- Greet guests immediately upon being seated with coffee and juice or bread
- Stock stations including linen and maintain order and cleanliness
- Check glassware and silver for cleanliness and polish
- Stock clean silverware
- Keep ice bins full and return ice scoop properly
- Make coffee and ensure pots are full marked and polished
- Stock coffee cups and saucers ensuring cleanliness
- Check and maintain stock of bread and butter caddies creamers and towels
- Carry trays of dirty dishes to dishwasher and unload properly
- Clean up spills immediately especially around ice bins
- Offer desserts describing them clearly to guests
- Provide coffee and tea service
- Close side work by cleaning area restocking supplies and refilling condiments
- Set up and break down special events and buffets including moving furniture
- Set up food on buffet tables and transport from kitchen
- Assist servers throughout meal service
- Comply with all company safety health and general policies and procedures
