The role of Busperson or Food Runner is vital to ensuring a flawless dining experience for guests by supporting servers and facilitating service logistics. Reporting directly to the Assistant Outlets Manager, the Busperson delivers excellent, warm, and attentive service that anticipates guest needs and exceeds expectations. This position requires a strong understanding of menu items, food preparation standards, presentation, and timing to assist with all food and beverage service aspects accurately.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
  • Passion for food, beverage, and delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • High level of attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role
  • TIPS certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Support servers in delivering a seamless, professional, and engaging dining experience
  • Assist with food and beverage service, ensuring accuracy, presentation, and timing meet LQA standards
  • Maintain a strong understanding of menus, ingredients, and preparation methods to confidently support guest interactions
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide thoughtful, attentive service throughout the dining experience
  • Assist in setting, clearing, and resetting tables with precision and attention to detail
  • Ensure all service areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times
  • Communicate effectively with both front of house and culinary teams to ensure smooth service flow
  • Support large parties, special events, and unique dining experiences with professionalism
  • Clear tables and carry dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen
  • Replace soiled table linens and set tables with silverware and glassware
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Other duties assigned
