The role we are offering is for a Busser position within one of Boyd Gaming's vibrant casino environments. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and customer service that Boyd Gaming is known for. As a Busser, you will be responsible for ensuring that dining areas are clean, tables are prepared according to operational standards, and guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience. The position requires attentiveness to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Your duties will include clearing tables, removing dishes and refuse promptly, cleaning seating areas, setting tables with proper arrangements, and assisting with beverage orders and service.
This position demands not only physical endurance but also excellent communication and customer service skills. You will often be the first point of contact for guests seated in your assigned station, requiring a friendly demeanor and the ability to anticipate needs. The ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, stand or walk for the duration of a shift, and manage hand-held trays filled with beverages is fundamental to succeeding in this role. Job Duties
- Clean tables by removing soiled dishes, silverware, glassware, and refuse
- wipe table tops and seats
- set up tables according to established standards
- receive and fulfill beverage orders
- greet guests seated in assigned station
- remove dishes and place in plastic bus tubs
- transport filled bus tubs to kitchen dishwashing area
- maintain cleanliness of side station and all work areas
