Job Requirements

Must be age 18 or older
Maintain flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to read and understand simple instructions
Ability to present information effectively to customers, vendors, and employees
Basic math skills
Ability to work under deadlines with frequent interruptions
Must be able to lift 25 pounds regularly

Job Qualifications

Some education and/or related training desired
Flexible schedule with availability for day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
Effective communication skills for small group interactions
Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Ability to work with deadlines and handle frequent interruptions
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly

Job Duties

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas including tables and chairs
Restock dining room and side stations with tableware, flatware, utensils, condiments, and linen
Assist servers with tasks such as removing dirty dishes and soiled linen
Greet guests promptly and provide bread, butter, and water
Replenish supplies on tables and refill water glasses and coffee cups
Remove used tableware between courses and supply tableware for next courses
Set tables with clean linen, dishes, and utensils
Clean and reset tabletops, chairs, booths, and floors between guest seating
Inspect and clean assigned restrooms every 30 minutes
Perform general cleaning duties as necessary
Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests
Assist food delivery especially during large parties and peak periods
Maintain a hospitable attitude and thank guests upon departure
Fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Attend employee meetings and suggest improvements
Perform other management-required restaurant tasks
