The hotel upholds Guiding Principles that promote collaboration, respect, and instinctive excellence, enriching the workplace and enhancing guest experiences. By fostering an environment where team members can be their true independent selves, the Heathman ensures a welcoming and supportive atmosphere both for staff and guests.

The Business Traveler (BT) Sales Manager role at the Heathman Hotel is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic sales professional focused on driving increased hotel revenues by engaging with third-party planners, trade associations, corporate accounts, and individual clients. This position emphasizes developing and managing the corporate transient market segment, securing new sales, and fostering strong client relationships to expand business opportunities. It requires a strategic approach to market trends and shoulder-day revenue optimization while maintaining alignment with the hotel’s signature service standards.

In this role, the BT Sales Manager will take a proactive stance in soliciting new accounts to grow the property’s market share and revenue. Responsibilities include completing and implementing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), participating in marketing initiatives, and overseeing monthly reporting and forecasting to guide strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, coupled with excellent communication and presentation abilities. Organizational skills and attention to detail are paramount, as is the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales management systems is preferred to support efficient sales operations. Physical requirements include the ability to stand and walk throughout the property during client tours and events and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds related to sales materials or event setup.

Joining the Heathman Hotel means becoming part of a respected institution with a storied past and a vibrant future. The company offers a full suite of benefits including paid time off, medical, dental, vision, pet insurance, company-matched dependent care and 401k programs, and a student loan repayment program. This role represents an exceptional career path for a motivated sales manager seeking to grow within a supportive and culturally rich environment dedicated to hospitality excellence and genuine guest connections.
