Job Description

Embassy Suites by Hilton Santa Clara - Silicon Valley is a premier hotel located in the vibrant heart of Silicon Valley, California. This hotel offers pristine suites and studio accommodations designed to provide guests with comfort and convenience. Its ideal location places it close to key attractions such as the Santa Clara Convention Center, Levi's Stadium, Great America Theme Park, and just minutes from San Jose Airport (SJC) and downtown San Jose. Known for its superior service and high-quality amenities, Embassy Suites combines Hilton’s trusted hospitality brand with the unique spirit of the Silicon Valley area, making it a preferred choice for both business and leisure travelers.

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Santa Clara - Silicon Valley is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Travel Sales Manager to join its dedicated team. This role is essential to ensuring the hotel meets its financial goals within the business travel segment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for increasing sales volume by developing and nurturing key relationships with new and existing business travel accounts. This is more than just a sales position; the successful candidate must deliver exceptional service while fostering long-term, value-driven customer partnerships.

As Business Travel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for qualifying new corporate and negotiated rate business travel accounts through methods such as research, cold calling, and telemarketing. You will analyze the current client base to identify growth opportunities and actively seek new clients using data insights from Demand 360, TravelClick, and other industry resources. Your role will also include preparing and presenting monthly production, strategies, and requests for proposal (RFP) negotiations to the internal sales teams and hotel ownership. Participation in industry organizations, local community events, and trade shows is a vital part of this role, as it supports networking and new business development.

In addition to direct sales activities, you’ll be expected to lead department projects and support daily account management activities. The position requires a thorough understanding of market trends, competitor strengths and weaknesses, and the ability to strategically position the hotel’s offerings to stand out. This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented approach coupled with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. The Business Travel Sales Manager will play a strategic role in elevating the hotel's profile in the business community and contributing to its overall success.

At Hilton, this role is supported by a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance, along with mental health resources. Employees enjoy best-in-class paid time off, a travel discount program offering 100 nights of discounted travel annually, and participation in a competitive 401(k) plan with company matching. Hilton also provides access to career development programs, resource groups, educational scholarships, family-building benefits, and financial wellness programs, making it an excellent employer for those seeking professional growth in the hospitality sector.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Santa Clara - Silicon Valley is not only committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences but also fostering an inclusive, supportive work environment where team members thrive personally and professionally. This is an opportunity for a motivated sales professional to join a globally recognized hospitality leader known for integrity, leadership, teamwork, and innovation, while making a meaningful impact on the hotel’s business travel segment.
