This position plays a critical role in generating new business, maintaining and expanding existing client relationships, and executing strategic sales initiatives. Responsibilities include prospecting and securing new corporate accounts, managing negotiated corporate contracts, conducting outside sales calls and networking events, and participating in annual corporate RFPs with preferred rate negotiations. Sales planning and reporting functions are also part of the job, requiring the development and execution of strategic sales plans focused on revenue goals, maintaining a strong sales pipeline, providing detailed sales reports and forecasts, analyzing market trends and competitor activity, and contributing to broader revenue strategies at the hotel. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2-3 years of experience in hotel sales, with a strong background in business transient sales or corporate and group accounts, along with knowledge of revenue management and negotiation. Strong networking, relationship-building, communication skills, and proficiency with sales platforms like Delphi, Salesforce, PEP, Hilton, and Microsoft Office Suite are essential. The role demands someone who can work independently as well as part of a team and who holds a valid driver’s license for local travel to client appointments. This position is integral to consistently achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals, maintaining a robust pipeline of corporate prospects, and delivering exceptional customer service and retention. Pyramid Global Hospitality offers an inclusive and supportive work culture, encouraging career growth and development in a globally recognized hospitality environment, making it a prime opportunity for driven sales professionals seeking to advance in the hospitality industry.
