The Acquisition Specialist role at FedEx is an exciting opportunity for motivated sales professionals to join the sales team focusing on closing net-new business within designated major and metro markets. This position is primarily customer-facing and requires in-person meetings, consolidating relationships and building solutions directly with potential customers. The specialist is responsible for creating customized value propositions and pricing strategies tailored to the specific needs of each client. This role demands deep sales acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally within FedEx to ensure seamless customer experiences and revenue growth.
Candidates for this position must reside within 50 miles of one of the key territories: Syracuse NY, Utica NY, Plattsburgh NY, or Burlington VT. Apart from closing new desks, this role also involves maintaining consistent communication with sales representatives for lead generation and identifying joint sales opportunities.
The position requires moderate overnight travel and a minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least four years in business-to-business sales or two years within the company's sales function. Candidates with prior new business development, consultative selling, pricing experience, and cross-functional collaboration skills are preferred. Competitive compensation ranges from $4,331.25 to $10,600.00 per month, reflecting experience and performance metrics. FedEx supports pay transparency and is an equal opportunity employer committed to reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities throughout the hiring process.
