Job Description

Curana Health is a dynamic and rapidly growing company dedicated to radically improving the health, happiness, and dignity of older adults. Established in 2021, Curana Health has quickly become a national leader in value-based care, serving over 200,000 seniors across more than 1,500 senior living communities and skilled nursing facilities in 32 states. Their innovative approach integrates on-site primary care services, Accountable Care Organizations, and Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plans to enhance health outcomes, streamline operations, and create new financial opportunities for senior living operators. With a team exceeding 1,000 clinicians, alongside care coordinators, analysts, and operational professionals, Curana Health is committed to delivering high-quality, proactive healthcare solutions that make a significant difference in the lives of seniors.

Ranked number 147 on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, Curana Health is recognized for its impactful work within the healthcare industry, ranking 16th in the Healthcare & Medical category and 21st in Texas. This growth reflects their commitment to transforming the senior housing and healthcare landscape by supporting operator stability and ensuring seniors receive the care they deserve.

The role of Business Development Representative at Curana Health is a senior individual contributor position focused on expanding the company’s footprint within the Rochester and surrounding areas. This role requires a passionate, self-driven individual who thrives in consultative healthcare sales and is comfortable working autonomously with regional ownership. The Business Development Representative will be instrumental in driving growth through strategic partnerships with skilled nursing and senior living organizations, nurturing and owning relationships with key decision-makers including executives, operational leaders, and clinicians.

Responsibilities include managing a regional pipeline, leading complex partnership discussions from initial contact through negotiation and execution, and clearly articulating Curana Health’s value-based care and clinical services model. Collaboration with internal teams such as clinical, operations, and contracting is vital to ensure successful partnership implementation. Additionally, the representative will represent Curana Health at regional industry events and networking opportunities, maintaining accurate pipeline tracking through CRM tools. This position involves approximately 25% overnight travel to partner communities and offers a salary range from $95,000 to $122,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including 401K, paid time off, and paid holidays, all subject to eligibility.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with 2-5 years of experience in healthcare business development, partnerships, or consultative sales, particularly those with a background in skilled nursing, senior living, post-acute, or healthcare services. Curana Health is committed to fostering diversity and inclusion within its workforce, providing an equal employment opportunity environment free from discrimination based on protected characteristics by federal, state, and local laws.
