Job Description

Curana Health is a rapidly growing healthcare company dedicated to radically enhancing the health, happiness, and dignity of older adults across the United States. Established in 2021, Curana Health has swiftly positioned itself as a national leader in value-based care by delivering innovative solutions to senior living communities and skilled nursing facilities. These solutions include on-site primary care services, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), and Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plans, all designed to improve health outcomes, streamline operations, and create new financial opportunities for senior living operators.

Serving over 200,000 seniors in more than 1,500 communities across 32 states, Curana Health combines the expertise of over 1,000 clinicians with the strategic efforts of care coordinators, analysts, operators, and professionals from diverse fields. This collaborative environment fosters high-quality, proactive healthcare solutions aimed at transforming how senior care is delivered nationwide. The company’s commitment to excellence and innovation has earned it a spot at number 147 on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, highlighting its strong growth trajectory and influential presence in the healthcare sector.

The role of Business Development Representative at Curana Health focuses on expanding the company’s footprint within Kentucky by nurturing strategic partnerships with skilled nursing and senior living organizations. This senior individual contributor position requires a proactive, motivated professional adept at managing complex conversations and building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, including executives, operational leaders, and clinical decision-makers.

Ideal candidates for this role are those who thrive in consultative healthcare sales environments and enjoy the autonomy to drive regional growth initiatives independently. The position entails owning and cultivating a robust regional pipeline, leading partnership discussions from initial contact through to successful execution and launch, and effectively communicating the unique value proposition of Curana Health’s value-based care and clinical services model.

Collaborating closely with internal teams such as clinical, operations, and contracting departments, the Business Development Representative will act as the primary relationship owner for assigned partners within the market. Participation in regional industry events and networking opportunities forms a crucial element of the role, enabling the representative to build trust and strengthen Curana’s brand within the healthcare community.

This role also demands diligent management of pipeline and activity tracking via CRM tools, ensuring accurate reporting and strategic insights that support business growth. With approximately 25 percent overnight travel expected throughout the state of Kentucky, candidates must possess the flexibility and willingness to engage directly with partner communities.

At Curana Health, Business Development Representatives are at the forefront of transforming senior healthcare delivery by creating impactful partnerships that enhance the quality of care while driving operational and financial benefits for partner organizations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the evolving senior healthcare landscape and join a dynamic team passionate about making a difference.
