Job Description

MAPEI Corporation is a globally recognized leader in the manufacturing of construction chemicals and building materials. Established as a premier supplier in the industry, MAPEI specializes in producing high-quality adhesives, sealants, and specialty products that are essential for flooring, tile installation, and concrete restoration projects. With a commitment to innovation and sustainable solutions, MAPEI serves a diverse range of construction markets worldwide, supporting professionals and contractors with advanced product lines that enhance both functionality and durability of construction projects.

The company prides itself on a spirit of collaboration and continuous improvement, engaging cutting-edge research and development teams to deliver dynamic solutions tailored to evolving industry needs. MAPEI’s comprehensive portfolio and steadfast focus on quality have earned the trust of numerous stakeholders across the globe, including engineers, designers, contractors, and public authorities.

Currently, MAPEI is seeking a Business Development Leader for its Construction & Restoration Systems (CRS) division, specifically focused on the Hydropower and Renewables product line. This strategic role is integral to driving sales growth and expanding MAPEI’s footprint in the rapidly growing hydropower and renewable energy infrastructure markets. The ideal candidate will leverage strong industry knowledge and proven experience to develop key accounts, influence project specifications early in the decision-making process, and foster relationships with major players within AEC firms, contractors, owners, and industry associations.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range from $90,000 to $140,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, the role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance, alongside benefits including a monthly auto allowance and comprehensive medical coverage options.

As a Business Development Leader, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, Technical Services, Marketing, and Research & Development teams to deliver innovative system solutions tailored to the complex demands of hydropower and renewable energy projects. Your responsibilities will include executing strategic sales plans, identifying and tracking project opportunities, supporting product launches, and delivering technical education and jobsite support to clients.

Your expertise in construction and restoration systems related to hydropower facilities, dams, water infrastructure, as well as onshore and offshore wind farm projects will be vital. You will be expected to build and maintain robust relationships within the market, expanding networks among engineers, contractors, and industry influencers to drive specification and market penetration. Representation of MAPEI at trade shows, industry conferences, and professional associations will also form a critical component of your role.

This position demands a strong technical aptitude combined with consultative sales abilities, enabling you to meet customer needs effectively and strengthen MAPEI’s leadership position. If you are passionate about contributing to sustainable energy infrastructure development and ambitious about advancing your career in business development within a global industry leader, MAPEI offers an excellent platform with diverse opportunities and a supportive, employee-centric culture.
