Job Description
Ecolab, Pharmaceutical & Personal Care (PPC) division, is a leading global provider specializing in environmental control and life science solutions tailored for the pharmaceutical industry. With a strong commitment to delivering comprehensive solutions and technical expertise, Ecolab collaborates closely with pharmaceutical manufacturers, cosmetics manufacturers, pharmacies, and analytical laboratories. Their goal is to ensure product quality and safety by providing tailored cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfection programs along with validation support. Ecolab's life sciences portfolio addresses critical needs in an ever-changing market influenced by rigorous regulatory standards and increasing demand for operational efficiency.
Ecolab is seeking a Sales Effectiveness Associate with a passionate drive to expand its Pharmaceutical customer base and promote growth within the organization. This role is vital for initiating sales opportunities and driving CRM adoption to streamline and optimize sales operations. The position involves engaging with existing clients and discovering new opportunities to sell advanced environmental control solutions specifically suited for pharmaceutical settings. A core responsibility includes managing a portfolio of small to mid-sized accounts within a designated territory, identifying growth opportunities, and increasing product penetration to support business expansion.
The Sales Effectiveness Associate will work collaboratively across multiple teams, including marketing, business development, and local account managers, to activate sales initiatives in key markets. They will lead efforts in sales prospecting, leveraging social media platforms, industry events, and targeted email campaigns for lead nurturing and pipeline growth. This role requires a high level of organization and the ability to create customer opportunity target lists by conducting detailed research and qualification of pharmaceutical companies fitting Ecolab’s life sciences solutions.
This position offers a dynamic work environment, requiring both virtual and in-person customer engagement, and involves significant travel (approximately 50%) to key markets for sales activation and relationship-building activities. The successful candidate will thrive in a high-volume, lead-based sales environment, demonstrating persistence, urgency, and discipline in follow-through. Furthermore, this role plays a strategic part in developing promotional campaigns in partnership with marketing and supporting the business operations team on CRM and sales enablement projects.
The compensation range for this position is between $93,800 and $140,600 annually, which includes base pay and performance-based incentives. Ecolab values competitive, market-aligned compensation packages that reflect experience, education, and geographic considerations. As part of the company’s commitment to inclusivity and equity, Ecolab fosters a culture of opportunity and advancement for all associates. They ensure fair treatment without discrimination based on various personal attributes, supporting equal employment opportunity through affirmative action.
