Job Description
This opportunity is with a vibrant, fast-paced entertainment venue that specializes in creating memorable and engaging experiences for a diverse clientele. The venue serves as a hub for corporate outings, fundraisers, team events, celebrations, and other social gatherings, delivering an immersive atmosphere filled with interactive amusements, social dining, and unique entertainment options. Known for its high-energy environment and striking lighting effects, the venue caters to a local community eager to celebrate, collaborate, and connect in novel and enjoyable ways. The position offered is a full-time role combining both sales and event management responsibilities, aimed at professionals who thrive in dynamic social settings and enjoy fostering meaningful relationships with clients and community partners.
The role centers around driving business development and event execution, providing a unique blend of outward-facing sales activities and hands-on event coordination. The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting and building new local business partnerships, including schools, nonprofits, corporate clients, and community groups. From initiating contact and managing the entire sales cycle to signing contracts and following up with clients, the role requires a proactive and relationship-oriented mindset. Additionally, the individual will host tours, tastings, and promotional events to showcase the venue's offerings, reinforcing the brand presence within the local market.
On the event execution side, this role involves planning and delivering a wide range of events from corporate parties to team-building outings and fundraisers. The candidate will work closely with guests to understand their vision, budget, and expectations, coordinating logistics with internal teams responsible for food and beverage, operations, amusements, and staffing. Critical tasks include creating and managing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), participating in strategy meetings, overseeing events on-site, ensuring smooth setup and breakdown, troubleshooting any issues in real time, and conducting post-event follow-ups to gather client feedback and nurture ongoing relationships.
Additionally, the role functions as a local ambassador for the venue, working closely with the General Manager and Marketing team to develop and support promotional initiatives, partnerships, and internal events. The candidate will contribute marketing insights from their awareness of the local market to improve offerings and elevate guest experiences. This multifaceted role requires a balance of organizational skills, interpersonal communication, sales acumen, and the stamina and flexibility to work during evenings and weekends as event demand dictates.
Compensation includes a base salary plus commission, with total earnings up to $60,000 per year, reflective of experience and sales performance. This role is ideal for motivated professionals passionate about event planning, hospitality sales, and business development who are excited to build relationships and bring events to life in a dynamic, high-energy setting. If you enjoy being part of the community, closing deals, and making every event a unique and successful experience, this position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and fulfillment.
