Job Description

Our company is a vibrant and fast-paced entertainment venue dedicated to hosting memorable events that bring people together. Known for blending high-energy experiences with exceptional hospitality, we specialize in corporate outings, fundraisers, team events, celebrations, and much more. Our venue attracts a diverse clientele including local businesses, schools, nonprofit organizations, and community groups, making us a cornerstone of local social and professional interaction. We pride ourselves on delivering not only spaces for events but immersive experiences that guests cherish long after the occasion has ended. Situated in a lively environment characterized by dynamic lighting effects and frequent guest interaction, our venue fosters an energetic atmosphere that truly enhances any gathering.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Event Sales and Planning Professional to join our team. This full-time, dynamic role offers a base salary plus commission structure with earning potential up to $60K per year. The successful candidate will be pivotal in selling our venue as the ideal setting for various events by prospecting and cultivating new local business opportunities. From corporate parties to team-building outings and community fundraisers, you will own the complete sales cycle—starting from initial outreach to contract signing and ongoing client follow-up. Your ability to build strong relationships across a diverse range of local organizations will be critical to your success.

Beyond sales, this position demands adept event planning skills, coordinating all aspects of events to ensure flawless execution. You will work closely with guests to understand their vision, budget constraints, and expectations, while collaborating across multiple internal teams including food and beverage, operations, amusements, and staffing. Your organizational talent will shine as you create and manage Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and contribute to weekly and event-specific meetings. Being physically present onsite during events to oversee setup, execution, and breakdown is an essential part of the job, along with troubleshooting and resolving any challenges that arise in real time.

Additionally, you will serve as a local ambassador, working alongside the General Manager and Marketing team to support promotions, partnerships, and social media campaigns connected to events. Your insights into the local market will help shape and improve our offerings and guest experiences. The role involves a mix of behind-the-scenes coordination and front-and-center interaction, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, interactive setting.

This is a role with unique excitement—you’re not confined to a desk nor simply selling ideas on paper. You'll forge meaningful connections, see the tangible outcomes of your work weekly, and play a key part in creating unforgettable memories for our clients. A willingness to work evenings and weekends to accommodate event schedules is necessary, and physical stamina is required as the job entails being on your feet most of the time and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed. If you have over two years of experience in event planning, hospitality sales, or business development, coupled with a relationship-driven approach and strong organizational skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career with us.
