The role involves directly interacting with guests, providing courteous and efficient food and beverage service, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service areas.
The responsibilities for this position include greeting guests by name whenever possible to create a personalized and welcoming experience, serving water, bread, and coffee, and ensuring that tables are properly cleaned and set up both before and after meal services. Effective communication skills are required for welcoming guests, supporting team goals, responding appropriately to coworkers' concerns, and handling telephone etiquette professionally. Adhering to the company’s policies, maintaining a clean and professional personal appearance, and protecting the confidentiality of proprietary information are critical components of this role.
