Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent such as GED
No previous related work experience required
No supervisory experience required
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Capable of standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods
Ability to lift, move, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
Proficient fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to navigate uneven, inclined, or slippery surfaces and climb stairs or ramps

Job Duties

Provide professional, courteous, and efficient food and beverage service to all guests
Clean and set tables in the dining area and perform other food service-related tasks including general cleaning and setup
Serve water, bread, and coffee, greet guests by name whenever possible during meal service
Stack trays properly for effective unloading by servers and ensure safety standards are maintained at all times
Complete closing tasks including storing reusable items, breaking down merchandise, cleaning equipment and areas, returning equipment to appropriate locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing the daily cleaning checklist
Set up, store, and maintain work areas
Inspect cleanliness and presentation of all china, glassware, and silverware before use
Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practice clean procedures during cleaning processes, and comply with health and safety standards
