Job Description
Resorts World Las Vegas is a premier luxury resort and casino destination that embodies sophistication, modern design, and state-of-the-art amenities. Located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, this integrated resort offers world-class dining, entertainment, and hospitality services to guests from around the globe. The resort prides itself on delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards across all its operations. As a part of its dedicated team, every staff member plays a crucial role in upholding the property’s core values and contributing to the overall success of the establishment.
The Bus Runner position at Resorts World Las Vegas is a vital role within the fast-paced dining environment of the resort’s restaurants. Serving as the backbone for smooth restaurant operations, the Bus Runner supports both front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests. This role requires energy, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to customer service excellence. The Bus Runner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the dining areas, assisting with food and beverage delivery, and executing other operational duties that contribute to guest satisfaction.
Positioned within a dynamic hospitality environment, the Bus Runner is expected to interact professionally with guests by greeting and welcoming them in a courteous manner. The role demands the maintenance of table cleanliness by promptly removing finished dishes and replenishing cutlery to prepare the dining area for the next course or visitor. Moreover, the Bus Runner supports the food servers and fountain workers by assisting in timely food and beverage delivery, ensuring the flow of service meets the high standards set by the resort.
This role also involves maintaining a clean, sanitized, and orderly work area to meet health and safety standards, along with restocking required supplies regularly. In adherence to company policies, Bus Runners are expected to use personal devices strictly for job-related operational tasks, such as reviewing company documents and communicating relevant information. Working at Resorts World Las Vegas means embracing property-wide core values which emphasize safety, security, cleanliness, and exceptional guest experience. The Bus Runner must maintain position-specific licensing and operate within the established guidelines and standards.
The work environment is typical of a busy restaurant setting and requires physical stamina and flexibility to manage tasks such as bending, reaching, lifting items up to 60 pounds, and prolonged periods of standing or sitting. Working varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary to meet the operational needs of the resort’s diverse dining venues. With a commitment to fostering a culture where every team member acts as an ambassador of the brand, the Bus Runner role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and providing superior guest service to contribute to the success of a luxury resort.
