Hotel del Coronado is an iconic and historic Victorian beach resort located on Coronado Island, just minutes from downtown San Diego. Established in 1888, this stunning 28-acre property represents one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world. Following a $400 million renovation and expansion, the resort is more breathtaking than ever, offering a blend of timeless charm and modern luxury. With over 750 rooms including cottages and villas, 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 diverse food and beverage outlets—including four restaurants, two bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining—the resort provides a uniquely comprehensive hospitality experience.
The Hotel del Coronado is currently seeking a seasonal Busperson to join its Food & Beverage team. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and organization in the resort's dining areas, contributing directly to the seamless guest experience and the spread of exceptional hospitality. As a Busperson, you will play a vital role in ensuring the dining environment is welcoming, efficient, and immaculate. The ideal candidate will bring an energetic and friendly attitude to guest interactions, supporting servers by clearing and resetting tables, managing service stations, and assisting with beverage and bread delivery.
The position demands attention to detail and a strong commitment to compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods

Job Duties
- Delight guests with an upbeat and friendly attitude
- clear and transport tableware including dishware, glassware, and silverware

- prepare tables for dining by clearing and resetting with clean serviceware
