The role of a Food Runner at HHM is an essential entry-level position in the food and beverage team, providing critical support to servers and management to ensure a smooth and memorable dining experience for guests. Working in this role means contributing directly to guest satisfaction by efficiently setting up and clearing tables, stocking service stations, and assisting food servers in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards. This position is instrumental in maintaining a clean and well-stocked environment which aligns with the company's sustainability efforts and high service standards.

Food Runners act as a crucial link between the kitchen and guests, ensuring that beverages, breads, and butter are served promptly to guests to begin their dining experience and are replenished as necessary throughout service. They are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of dining areas during all meal periods, including the transport of dirty tableware to dishwashing, adhering strictly to safety standards and guidelines such as MSDS and OSHA requirements. This role requires physical activity including standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
