This full-time Bus Driver/Safety Coordinator position plays an essential role in supporting the community by ensuring safe and reliable transportation, particularly for the Head Start program’s children. The role is located onsite in Reno, NV, and offers competitive compensation ranging from $16.49 to $21.00 per hour, depending on experience. As a Bus Driver/Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for transporting children safely to and from school, closely adhering to public safety guidelines and internal RSIC policies. The position requires you to manage the safe environment of the bus, assist children’s care and education, and uphold Head Start Performance Standards. Additionally, you will oversee safety inspections, conduct staff training on safety procedures, and collaborate to maintain compliance with Indian Health Services Tribal Health and Safety Codes, as well as the Child and Adult Care Food Program guidelines.
