Job Description

As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance customer experience, we are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Bus Crew members.

The Bus Crew role is an integral part of the restaurant’s operational success, ensuring a clean and comfortable dining area, assisting servers, and maintaining smooth service flow. This position entails greeting guests as they arrive, promptly attending to table cleanliness by removing used tableware between courses, and efficiently clearing and resetting tables after guests depart. Bus Crew members work closely with the service staff and management team to guarantee a seamless and enjoyable dining environment. The role requires physical stamina to stand for extended periods, perform cleaning tasks, and assist with food delivery during busy periods. While prior restaurant experience is not required, candidates must possess basic communication skills and the ability to follow instructions meticulously. Job Requirements

  • No previous restaurant experience required
  • have working knowledge of the predominant language(s) of our guests
  • able to lift, reach, bend and stoop
  • able to work in a standing position for long periods (up to 5 hours)

Job Duties

  • Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift
  • promptly greet guests as they are seated and bring bread, butter and water to table
  • remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course
  • clear tables after guests leave, take tableware to dishroom and sort silverware, dishes and glassware appropriately
  • clean table tops, chairs, booths and floors between seatings
  • reset and arrange tabletop
  • inspect assigned restrooms every 30 minutes and clean as needed
  • respond to guest requests and communicate them to servers
  • coordinate with servers and hostesses for efficient seating and customer service
  • assist servers with food delivery during large parties and peak times
  • thank guests as they leave
  • fill in as needed to support restaurant operations
