The role of the Vehicle Service Assistant is pivotal in ensuring a smooth and safe operation within the service area. This full-time position emphasizes the physical handling of vehicles, customer interaction, and maintaining an organized and clean work environment. The primary responsibilities include greeting customers, managing vehicle parking logistics, caring for loaner vehicles, performing quick alignment checks, and ensuring that vehicles are clean and ready post-service. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service orientated environment preferred
  • Can adapt and embrace change with an internal and external customer centric mindset
  • Acts as an advocate for teammates and has a strong commitment to technology advancement
  • Possesses effective communication skills including oral, written, and listening
  • Works well with customers, promotes a positive image of the company, and strives to solve issues raised by customers

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma

Job Duties

  • Greet all customers entering the service area and direct customers to service-write up area
  • Tag vehicles and install mats and seat covers
  • Park all vehicles in appropriate locations
  • Maintain organized lot in order to provide easy access for customers including removing any debris and snow
  • Maintain loaner vehicles by washing, filling gas tanks and parking in designated area
  • Inform management of any mechanical or body repairs needed for loaner vehicles
  • Perform alignment checks quickly and efficiently, providing color alignment print out to the Service Consultants while the customer is still in the office
  • Clean, wash and detail customer vehicles, shop and service drive as needed
