Currently, Onvo is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join their team in the role of Customer Service Associate. This position is crucial to the company’s success as it serves as the frontline interaction point between the company and its customers. The ideal candidate is energetic, outgoing, and possesses strong verbal communication skills, capable of thriving in fast-paced environments while maintaining an unwavering focus on customer satisfaction. The primary responsibility of a Customer Service Associate is to engage directly with customers, providing a friendly, efficient, and enjoyable experience that upholds the company’s high standards of service. Additionally, maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment is a key component of the role, ensuring that all service areas meet sanitary and operational requirements. This position is full-time and requires a hands-on approach, with various duties ranging from greeting customers and responding to inquiries, to handling complaints and ensuring compliance with company policies.

The role demands physical stamina as associates will often be standing for long hours and may need to lift up to 50 pounds following proper lifting procedures. Training is provided to help new associates learn their duties and uphold company standards. Those hired will be part of a supportive team environment where cooperation and positive working relationships are encouraged. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Physically capable of standing for long hours
  • Ability to read, write and speak English language

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous customer service or retail experience an asset
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitary practices helpful
  • Team-oriented with positive attitude and dependability

Job Duties

  • Greets every customer in a quick and courteous manner
  • Provides a pleasant dining experience to all customers and responds to inquiries timely
  • Handles all customer complaints according to company policies
  • Develops and maintains product knowledge and provides product recommendations
  • Follows sanitary practices for food handling and cleanliness
  • Ensures compliance with operational standards and company policies
  • Sustains consistent high quality of food preparation and service
  • Maintains proper uniform and appearance standards
  • Works effectively with others in a positive and cooperative manner
  • Assists other associates and helps new associates learn job skills
  • Communicates concerns to management timely
  • Operates point-of-sale equipment and processes sales accurately
  • Receives and stocks merchandise according to company policy
  • Lifts up to 50 pounds following proper lifting procedures
  • Ensures stock is clean, faced, and presentable
  • Applies FIFO system for receiving and stocking
  • Removes and records damaged or out-of-date stock
  • Follows portion control and minimizes loss
  • Controls store premises to minimize loss and theft
  • Secures premises upon closing
  • Maintains high cleanliness standards
  • Cleans floors, walls, counters, kitchen, and service equipment
  • Removes trash and cleans customer service area including restrooms and parking lot
  • Performs duties safely to protect workers and customers
  • Complies with all safety policies and uses materials handling procedures
  • Reports unsafe practices to management
