Job Duties

  • Greets every customer in a quick and courteous manner
  • Provides a pleasant dining experience to all our customers and responds to customer inquiries in a timely fashion
  • Handles all customer complaints according to company policies and procedures
  • Develops and maintains product knowledge and provides customers with product recommendations
  • Follows sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas
  • Ensures compliance with operational standards, company policies and ordinances
  • Sustains consistent high quality of food preparation and service
  • Keeps professional image by maintaining proper uniform and appearance standards
  • Works effectively with others (individuals and departments) in a positive, supportive and cooperative manner
  • Helps other associates in their duties and assists new associates in learning their new job skills
  • Communicates any issues of concerns and ensures all internal matters are presented to GM in a timely manner
  • General knowledge of all point-of-sale equipment
  • Processes customer sales accurately and efficiently. Ensures cash drawer levels are maintained in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Receives and stocks all merchandise in accordance with company policy
  • Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds following proper lifting procedures
  • Ensures stock is faced up, clean and presentable at all times
  • Apply the FIFO (first in first out) system, when receiving or stocking any product
  • Ensures all damaged and/or out of date stock is removed, accurately recorded and placed in designated quarantine area
  • Follows portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize loss
  • Maintains full control of the store and its contents at all times using prevention techniques as per company to minimize loss (i.e. drive offs or retail theft etc)
  • Follows company policies and procedures for securing the premises upon end of day closure
  • Maintains a high standard of cleanliness
  • Cleans in accordance with the brands specific sanitary standards including but not limited to: sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning walls, counters, tables, kitchen and service equipment
  • Cleans the customer service area by removing trash, cleaning restrooms and the parking lot
  • Performs all duties in a safe and responsible manner to assure workers, customers, suppliers/contractors and the environment are not at risk
  • Complies with all company safety policies, procedures and instructions
  • Uses materials handling procedures and equipment provided to minimize contamination or injury
  • Reports to management any unsafe practice or condition and follows all safety initiatives
