Job Description
GPS Hospitality is a renowned restaurant management company known for its dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiences across its diverse portfolio of restaurant brands. With a commitment to hospitality excellence and operational integrity, GPS Hospitality strives to create a positive and dynamic work environment where employees can thrive and grow professionally. The company specializes in providing support and leadership to a variety of restaurant concepts, ensuring high standards in food quality, customer service, team training, and operational efficiency.
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Shift Leader to join our restaurant team. The Shift Leader role is pivotal within the restaurant’s daily operations, tasked with stepping in to lead in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager. This role requires a hands-on leader who is trained in all team member duties but also carries the additional responsibility of overseeing key functions such as employee coaching, product preparation, customer service excellence, and maintaining restaurant standards throughout each shift. The Shift Leader ensures seamless operations by enforcing company policies, providing support and direction to team members, and enhancing the overall guest experience.
This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a passion for leadership within the hospitality industry. Shift Leaders at GPS Hospitality are empowered to utilize GPS Hospitality Systems to manage the restaurant effectively, reinforcing company values and operational protocols. They serve as role models, maintaining a high level of proficiency in restaurant operations, and applying strong problem-solving skills to address challenges as they arise. The role also focuses on training and mentoring staff to build competent, customer-focused teams that exemplify the brand’s commitment to outstanding service.
Joining GPS Hospitality as a Shift Leader means becoming part of a supportive and positive team with ample career development opportunities. The company offers structured training programs, performance reviews, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support both professional growth and personal well-being. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary reflective of the responsibilities and experience required. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, GPS Hospitality values diversity and inclusion, ensuring an equal chance for all candidates regardless of background or personal characteristics. Prospective candidates must meet certain physical requirements given the demanding nature of the restaurant environment, including the ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks necessary for operational success.
