Job Requirements

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Availability Monday through Saturday preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times daily
  • Willingness to work in wet or humid conditions and extreme temperatures
  • Adherence to safety protocols including using cutting gloves, back support belts, and goggles as needed
  • Ability to operate and clean commercial kitchen machinery
  • Positive and energetic demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen or production environment preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Basic knowledge of food safety practices

Job Duties

  • Prepare dough for buns and mochi
  • Form and shape buns and mochi
  • Operate commercial kitchen machinery
  • Assist in loading and unloading the bun steamer oven
  • Pack and seal bun and dessert dumpling items
  • Assist in cleaning bun and dessert machinery
  • Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment
