This particular opportunity is for a Bulk Driver position based in Greeley (Denver), CO, specializing in ammonia production and filling operations. This is a full-time role offering a competitive compensation rate of $30.25 per hour. The Bulk Driver will operate Class A Tractor Trailers, Bobtails, and Tankers to deliver critical products to local customers either on scheduled routes or as needed. The Bulk Driver role is central to Airgas’s commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. Drivers must adhere to strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) when handling highly hazardous materials like Anhydrous Ammonia and Ammonium Hydroxide. Responsibilities include performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining correct load manifests and delivery documents, and ensuring all safety rules are observed meticulously. Drivers will engage in direct communication with customers to address SOPs and resolve any service inquiries, maintaining professional conduct and appearance while upholding vehicle cleanliness and operational efficiency. This position demands physical capability, including the ability to lift 60 pounds or more, and requires candidates to work independently under pressure to meet delivery deadlines, sometimes involving overtime or occasional overnight stays.

This role requires candidates to be at least 25 years old and hold a valid Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements obtained before the hire date. Applicants must have at least two years of commercial motor vehicle experience within the last four years and meet stringent safety standards, including a clean driving record without preventable accidents and serious violations within specified timelines. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and completion of an accredited truck driving school may substitute for a year of required experience. Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential for handling delivery documentation and communication.
