Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • six months to one year experience in receptionist or clerical roles
  • ability to type and use office software
  • strong customer service skills
  • knowledge of banking procedures and compliance
  • effective oral and written communication skills
  • ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • maintain professionalism and confidentiality

Job Qualifications

  • Equivalent to a high school diploma plus additional specialized courses
  • six months to one year experience in general receptionist and clerical work including customer service
  • professional telephone manners
  • typing skills
  • knowledge of financial institution procedures and basic commercial mathematics
  • proficiency with personal computers, software applications, and office equipment
  • good interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work in a team and fast-paced environment
  • self-motivated and organized

Job Duties

  • Greet and direct members and visitors courteously and efficiently
  • screen visitors and manage visitor badges and log
  • answer and direct telephone calls courteously
  • process check orders and signature cards quality checks
  • prepare savings and loan documents for imaging and processing
  • manage lobby area cleanliness and security of literature
  • assist management with lobby operations and facility maintenance identification
  • verify loan application information and disbursal checks
  • log new indirect lending contracts and prepare member packages
  • mail renewal notices for safe deposit boxes and dormant account notices
  • collect, order and distribute office supplies
  • cover receptionist desk when required
  • complete required compliance training and adhere to federal regulations and company policies
