The company boasts an expansive platform that covers venue development and end-to-end capabilities across venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. With a distinguished portfolio that includes seven world-class owned venues and a distinguished client base featuring some of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions that span across four continents, OVG is a forerunner in delivering exceptional live entertainment experiences worldwide.

As an innovator in the live entertainment industry, Oak View Group focuses on creating environments that enhance the quality and excitement of live events for attendees, performers, and partners alike. Employing cutting-edge technology and a committed workforce, OVG stands at the forefront of the entertainment industry, continually shaping how live events are produced and enjoyed.

The Building Coordinator position at Oak View Group, specifically located at the Iowa Events Center, offers a unique opportunity to be part of this dynamic and industry-leading organization. This role is an event-driven support position pivotal to maintaining high standards in venue presentation and operation. The Building Coordinator is responsible for supervising and supporting small teams focused on key operational areas such as housekeeping, show care, room setups, event teardown, arena conversions, convention services, and grounds maintenance.

Beyond hands-on operational tasks, the Building Coordinator plays a crucial leadership role by guiding part-time building attendants through daily activities, providing training and coaching, and fostering a positive team environment. The role requires the creation and management of daily checklists and labor allocation sheets to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion of duties. Working closely with Operations Supervisors, this position addresses operational challenges and personnel concerns promptly, ensuring a professional and smoothly run facility.

The successful candidate will operate diverse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, buffers, burnishers, rider sweepers and scrubbers, walk-behind scrubbers, blowers, vacuums, and snow removal equipment. This hands-on aspect of the role demands a high degree of safety consciousness and competence in using various supplies and cleaning chemicals responsibly. Additionally, the Building Coordinator must be adept at reading detailed event documentation and diagrams to execute precise room setups and ensure quality standards.

With a competitive hourly rate of $19.00 per a collective bargaining agreement, this role offers stable employment opportunities with benefits aligned to union agreements. The position demands punctuality, excellent attendance, and flexibility to work an event-driven schedule that may include lengthy shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays. As part of OVG’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity, the Building Coordinator is encouraged to contribute to the company’s culture of innovation, service excellence, and community engagement. This role remains open until September 11, 2026, providing ample opportunity for qualified candidates to join this exciting and fast-paced environment where their contributions will directly impact live event excellence and fan experiences.
