The role available is for a Cleaning and Maintenance Worker who will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall sanitation of various rooms and areas within the facility. This position is vital in ensuring the facility remains inviting and safe for all guests, tenants, and employees. The responsibilities for this role include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming carpets, removing trash, cleaning restrooms, restocking supplies, and cleaning windows. Additionally, the role involves handling specialized cleaning equipment such as buffers, wet vacuums, ride-on scrubbers, and carpet extraction machines safely and efficiently.

The position demands adherence to safety procedures including knowledge of the GHS Chemical Safety Program and OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Training. The incumbent will be expected to perform minor repairs and maintenance on cleaning equipment and assist in the separation of recyclables from trash. Importantly, the role does not involve supervisory responsibilities, but requires a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Employment is unionized with a competitive hourly wage of $18.32 and includes a comprehensive benefits package. The role also requires the ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate the facility's event schedule. Physical demands are significant and include lifting up to 60 pounds, prolonged standing and walking, and working under varying environmental conditions including noise and dust.
