The Buffet Attendant/Food Runner plays a crucial role within the Hyatt Regency Atlanta's food and beverage team. This position primarily involves maintaining buffet items to ensure they are well-stocked, fresh, and visually appealing to guests throughout service periods. In addition, this role assists Food Servers by promptly delivering food items to guests, guaranteeing timely and courteous service. Due to the fast-paced nature of the hospitality environment, strong communication skills are essential as this role requires continual interaction with guests and other team members. Physical stamina is required as the job involves lifting, pushing, and pulling moderate weights as well as standing and walking for extended periods. The Buffet Attendant/Food Runner helps elevate the guest experience by ensuring smooth buffet operations, cleanliness, and assistance with guest needs during breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.
