We are currently seeking a dedicated Host/Cashier to join our dynamic restaurant team in a full-time capacity. This pivotal role involves greeting customers as they arrive, assisting them with menus, and escorting them to their seating area, effectively serving as the face of our restaurant. The Host/Cashier position also requires managing phone calls and addressing customer inquiries professionally, providing a seamless communication link between our guests and the restaurant. Additionally, the role encompasses handling all payment transactions, including cash, credit cards, and gift cards, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at the register.

The successful candidate will perform various duties that maintain the smooth operation of the front-of-house section. Responsibilities range from managing daily cash processes, balancing the register at shift end, to cleaning and organizing service areas. The role also involves tasks such as dispensing gift cards, answering phones, restocking supplies, sanitizing workstations, and supporting the team during busy periods. These responsibilities contribute greatly to maintaining a hygienic and organized restaurant environment that supports exceptional customer service.

Our ideal candidate is someone with prior experience in customer interactions and cash handling, demonstrating superior interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Physical demands include standing for extended periods, lifting objects up to 50 pounds, and maintaining vision acuity necessary for this fast-moving, precise role. We offer a competitive wage starting at $16.90 per hour plus tips, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, and the opportunity to participate in our 401k retirement plan after 90 days.
