Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- prior cash handling experience preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
- good vision including depth perception and peripheral vision
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school/GED or higher education preferred
- superior skills in interaction with customers preferred
- prior cash handling experience preferred
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication skills
- attention to detail in cash handling and record keeping
Job Duties
- Receive payments and present change to customers
- function as the host/hostess of the restaurant
- receive food checks from waiters or customers
- manage the register, including all credit card and cash operations
- ensure a balance of the register at the end of the shift or working period
- keep menus clean and ready to present to customers
- provide great customer service with a smile
