As a Cook at Buca di Beppo, you will be responsible for preparing all menu items associated with your station according to company recipes and specifications. The role requires maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times. Essential functions include consistent preparation of high-quality food, turning and stirring foods to ensure even cooking, seasoning and cooking food according to recipes or experience, and judging food readiness through sensory evaluation techniques such as tasting and smelling. The Cook will also be expected to weigh, measure, and mix ingredients accurately, follow portion sizes and quality standards, and comply with all kitchen policies and procedures.

In addition to food preparation, the Cook plays a key role in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards, inspecting food preparation and serving areas to ensure safe food-handling practices, and assisting in the cleaning and organization of kitchen, walk-ins, and storage areas. The position involves managing inventory effectively, including estimating food consumption, requisitioning or purchasing supplies, and properly storing food with correct labeling and refrigeration procedures.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills, showing the ability to work cooperatively with others and communicate ideas clearly.
