Job Duties
- Answer phones in a friendly and timely manner and take messages
- greet guests warmly upon arrival and thank them sincerely as they depart
- take, package, and tender to-go orders
- present accurate bills, collect proper payments, and follow cash handling procedures
- maintain accurate accounts of coupons, cash, promos, vouchers, and credits
- provide guests with detailed information about the restaurant
- maintain a clean and organized arrival area throughout the shift
- monitor the flow of the restaurant including table turnover, guest arrival and departure, and pace of service
- work with service staff to reset tables efficiently
- clean up accidental spills or breakages
- pre-set flatware
- clean and maintain menus and drink menus
- communicate guest needs to management and service staff
- page and seat guests efficiently and comfortably
- ensure guests are comfortable while waiting, including passing crowd pizzas
- assist with gift card sales
- monitor and maintain restroom cleanliness
- maintain and clean the lobby area, including wiping down surfaces
- welcome and assist job applicants
- maintain walkways inside and outside
- assist with locating guests for phone calls or messages
- thank guests for visiting and invite them to return
- follow the Ten Points of Difference and Guest Standards of Execution as outlined in the Host Workbook
