Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years’ experience working in a professional kitchen, preferably in high volume production
  • Strong knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to details
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and scheduled holidays as needed

  • Ability to work well among others in a positive environment
  • Flexibility to be cross-trained in different facets of operation
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to frequently move objects weighing up to 50 pounds

  • Prior food preparation experience preferred but not required
  • Reliability and dependability

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards
  • Set up and maintain a clean, organized workstation, ensuring proper ingredient preparation and storage
  • Follow food safety and sanitation protocols, including proper labeling, dating, and rotation of ingredients
  • Work closely and respectfully with the kitchen team to coordinate production and ensure timely service
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, and managing inventory to maintain freshness and minimize waste
  • Adapt to changing kitchen needs, assisting with prep work, station changes, cleaning schedules, and other tasks as required
  • Maintain professionalism in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
