Job Description

Dutch Bros Coffee is a vibrant and innovative coffee company that stands apart from traditional coffee shops by fostering a culture of fun, passion, and community impact. Known for their friendly and engaging atmosphere, Dutch Bros Coffee is dedicated not just to serving great coffee but to making a difference one cup at a time. Founded on the principles of caring deeply about people and providing extraordinary experiences, Dutch Bros Coffee has developed a unique brand identity focused on love, service, and community involvement. This company culture is embodied by its employees, affectionately known as Broistas, who are the heart of Dutch Bros' commitment to stellar customer service and a positive work environment.

As a Broista at Dutch Bros Coffee, you are more than just a barista; you are a vital contributor to the company's mission to love people, make a difference in the community, and create memorable experiences for every customer. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in team-oriented settings and who genuinely enjoy connecting with others. Dutch Bros values authenticity and adaptability, encouraging its employees to be their unique selves while supporting and uplifting their teammates. Broistas are expected to be upbeat and people-first, bringing kindness and positivity to every customer interaction.

The position involves greeting customers with a smile, educating them about the menu and current specials, and delivering consistent, high-quality service with speed and accuracy. Broistas are the face of the company and play a crucial role in shaping customer experiences by embodying Dutch Bros' culture and core values. Being part of this company means being part of a relationship business that prioritizes genuine connections as much as delicious beverages.

Dutch Bros takes its responsibility toward employees seriously by offering various benefits and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Employees receive 8 hours of paid volunteer time to contribute to their communities, access to an Employee Assistance Program that supports physical and mental health, and an Education Benefit Program that provides up to $5,250 per year toward professional development after one year of employment. The company also offers a supportive onboarding process with comprehensive training designed to set up Broistas for success.

Additionally, Dutch Bros values reliability and accountability. The role requires commitment to scheduled shifts, timely attendance, and adherence to company policies outlined in the Mafia Manifesto and Employee Handbook. Broistas must obtain and maintain a Food Handler Permit or Certification, possess basic math skills for cash handling, and demonstrate proficiency in written and verbal English communication. Fluency in other languages is highly valued given the customer-facing nature of the role.

Dutch Bros Coffee offers a competitive compensation rate of up to $15.00 per hour, which includes an average tip of $5.00 per hour. Tips are pooled among trained Broistas, creating an additional earning opportunity. The environment is fast-paced and active, requiring employees to be physically capable of standing, walking, lifting up to 65 lbs, and working in various weather conditions. The company provides appropriate gear to help manage environmental challenges.

If you are someone who enjoys working in a lively, positive environment surrounded by passionate colleagues, and you are eager to make a tangible impact on your community, a career at Dutch Bros Coffee as a Broista could be incredibly rewarding. Dutch Bros not only offers a job but a chance to grow, connect, and be part of something bigger while enjoying a fun and inclusive workplace culture.
