Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years broiler or grill experience
  • Proven track record in a fine dining or high-volume kitchen
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Capability to lift 50 pounds constantly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand and move continuously for up to four hours
  • Strong communication skills
  • Effective sensory evaluation skills for food quality
  • Willingness to undergo background check

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of broiler or grill experience in a high-volume or fine dining kitchen
  • Excellent understanding of meat temperatures, doneness, and steakhouse standards
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure in a hot, fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
  • Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
  • Experience in full service restaurant
  • Ability to lift and handle food, equipment, and supplies up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand and exert mobility for periods up to four hours
  • Effective communication and attentive listening skills
  • Ability to distinguish flavors, odors, and temperatures to meet quality standards

Job Duties

  • Masterfully cook and finish steaks to guest specifications
  • Ensure all food is prepared to Ruth's Chris quality standards and plating guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the broiler station and kitchen line
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely, consistent service
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
