Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a cooking or food preparation role
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Capable of standing for long periods and performing physically demanding tasks

  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of hot and cold food items such as salad mixes, sauces, side dishes, and appetizers
  • Portion, wash, peel, slice, and mix vegetables, fruits, pasta, and other ingredients for entrees, appetizers, salads, and garnishes
  • Carve and slice meats and cheese
  • Measure and mix ingredients to make salad dressings, sauces, salads, and hot and cold food items following recipes
  • Ensure all food items are prepared according to company specifications, recipes, procedures, and quality standards
  • Maintain the highest degree of sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety for the work area
  • Report any unsafe condition, act, accident, or injury immediately
