This role is designed for a talented Back of House (BOH) Leader who will take charge of ensuring all kitchen operations run smoothly while delivering outstanding Italian cuisine. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards in food quality, safety, and sanitation, while creating a fun and efficient workplace. You will lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff, overseeing everything from food preparation to employee training and development. Your leadership will directly influence our ability to provide an exceptional experience to each guest with every meal served.
Your responsibilities will include managing all operational aspects of the kitchen to achieve financial goals and operational efficiency, including managing food costs and labor expenses. You will play a key role in hiring top talent, training both new and experienced employees, and fostering an environment that encourages career growth and high employee retention. Your role will also involve leveraging guest feedback and review tracker results to continuously improve food quality and guest satisfaction. You will be instrumental in maintaining a clean, safe, and profitable kitchen environment that aligns with our company’s mission and standards.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a supervisory culinary or BOH role
- knowledge of food safety standards
- excellent organizational skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong interpersonal skills
- available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- ability to stand for extended periods
- proficiency with computer systems for inventory and ordering
Job Qualifications
- proven leadership experience in a BOH or culinary role
- strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques
- experience with food cost and labor management
- excellent communication and coaching abilities

- understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- proficiency with inventory and ordering systems such as NBO
- capability to analyze guest feedback and implement improvements

Job Duties
- create lifetime guests by delivering uncompromising quality service
- ensure highest level of food quality and consistency in a safe, clean, profitable, and fun environment
- lead chef family in preparation of great tasting Italian food
- manage operational efficiency and EBITDA of all back of house functions
- hire, train, and retain BOH employees
- develop employee skills in cooking, food preparation, safety, and sanitation
- utilize guest feedback and review tracker to improve food quality
- ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and security policies
- conduct regular menu tastings and line checks
- oversee opening and closing duties of BOH
- manage employee attendance and punctuality
- use NBO for ordering, preparation, and stocking
- direct and coach staff during food production and line setup
- conduct pre-shift meetings and participate in FOH pre-shifts
- maintain updated recipes and procedures
- perform inventories and manage food and supply orders
- ensure proper product storage and rotation
- foster teamwork and communication among management and staff
