We are currently seeking a Bridge Inspector to join our Construction, Engineering, and Inspection (CEI) team located in Tallahassee, Florida. This position is part of our Construction Management group tasked with overseeing contractor activities on roadway and bridge construction projects to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards. The role of Bridge Inspector involves assisting the Project Administrator or Senior Inspector during daily inspections of bridges and roadways. This includes conducting quality control checks and verifying that contractors meet all compliance requirements associated with earthwork, asphalt, concrete, bridge and miscellaneous structures, toll facilities, lighting, signalization, environmental compliance, maintenance of traffic, and more. You will perform testing and verification inspections, sometimes under general supervision from senior staff members, ensuring all construction processes comply with contract and safety standards.

This demanding role requires physical capability to navigate active construction sites safely in various weather conditions while standing or walking for extended periods and managing equipment weighing up to 30 pounds. The Bridge Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining project integrity and ensuring the safety and quality of infrastructure built.
