Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Must live within two-hour driving distance from Charleston International Airport
- Ability to reach and remove emergency equipment from overhead bins
- Adequate head clearance in the cabin
- Ability to use and buckle into the E190 and A220 jumpseat harness and lap belt
- Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug test
- Must pass TSA fingerprint-based background check and Breeze background check
- Must pass vision and hearing test
- Ability to perform physically with lifting luggage and pushing/pulling carts up to 60 pounds
- Must adhere to CDC hygiene standards
- Ability to communicate and read safety announcements in English
- Must pass security screening training
- Able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Willingness to assist in different departments
- Ability to handle stressful and emergency situations
- Compliance with FAA and DOT regulations
Job Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Neat, well-groomed appearance capable of making a positive impression
- Service-oriented mindset
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
- Ability to pass vision and hearing tests
- Ability to successfully complete security screening training
- Legal right to work in the U.S.
- Legal right to travel without restriction to and from the U.S.
- Current passport with at least six months validity
- Ability to serve alcoholic beverages
- Flexible to relocate if needed
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
- Ability to report to assigned base and work reserve assignments
- Positive attitude and strong desire for success
- Compliance with company guidelines on piercings, tattoos, and uniform appearance
Job Duties
- Provide an exceptional guest experience by warmly welcoming guests onto the aircraft and assisting with seating and luggage stowage
- Remain positive and kind to ensure guests feel valued and appreciated
- Maintain a safe work environment for guests and team members
- Remain calm under pressure and mitigate high-stress situations
- Effectively communicate, collaborate, and show respect for other team members
- Monitor the cabin regularly to stay approachable and accommodating
- Remain flexible and adaptable to changes in schedules due to operational or weather delays
- Stay current and compliant with FAA regulations, company procedures, and training requirements
- Demonstrate personal responsibility by being punctual, timely, and proactive
- Uphold professional appearance and etiquette guidelines
- Assist in other departments if necessary
- Use, implement, and explain Breeze's inflight technology
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages while practicing the highest hygiene standards
- Maintain cabin cleanliness and galley organizational standards
- Provide instruction on emergency and evacuation procedures to guests
- Administer first aid and medical care in emergencies
- Control personal and emotional responses and act appropriately under stress
- Conduct security screenings
- Complete Autism Awareness Training
- Adhere to FAA and DOT travel regulations
