Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous food and beverage service experience preferred
  • TIPS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • Current Food Handlers card
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience passionately providing food and beverage service to others preferred, with a familiarity in restaurant terminology and food service techniques
  • Strong knowledge in alcohol service and food handler certifications are required
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English
  • High school diploma or GED or some college experience or degree preferred
  • Must be TIPS certified or become certified within 30 days of hire
  • Must have a current Food Handlers card
  • Previous experience in a professional setting is preferred

Job Duties

  • Welcoming guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, guiding them to their tables, and providing them with menus
  • Accurately taking and entering food and beverage orders into the system, ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are noted
  • Delivering orders to tables promptly and ensuring that all dishes and drinks are served at the correct temperature
  • Preparing and serving drinks from the bar, including cocktails, soft drinks, and other beverages, while following all health and safety guidelines
  • Offering menu suggestions and answering questions about ingredients and preparation methods to enhance the guest dining experience
  • Processing transactions, including handling cash and credit card payments, and providing accurate change and receipts
  • Checking in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and addressing any issues or special requests promptly
