Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous food and beverage service experience preferred
- TIPS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Current Food Handlers card
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience passionately providing food and beverage service to others preferred, with a familiarity in restaurant terminology and food service techniques
- Strong knowledge in alcohol service and food handler certifications are required
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English
- High school diploma or GED or some college experience or degree preferred
- Must be TIPS certified or become certified within 30 days of hire
- Must have a current Food Handlers card
- Previous experience in a professional setting is preferred
Job Duties
- Welcoming guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, guiding them to their tables, and providing them with menus
- Accurately taking and entering food and beverage orders into the system, ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are noted
- Delivering orders to tables promptly and ensuring that all dishes and drinks are served at the correct temperature
- Preparing and serving drinks from the bar, including cocktails, soft drinks, and other beverages, while following all health and safety guidelines
- Offering menu suggestions and answering questions about ingredients and preparation methods to enhance the guest dining experience
- Processing transactions, including handling cash and credit card payments, and providing accurate change and receipts
- Checking in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and addressing any issues or special requests promptly
