Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- answers telephone promptly and provides friendly, helpful service including taking customer orders
- checks with customers to ensure satisfaction and takes action to correct problems
- collects payments from customers
- writes, memorizes, or enters food orders and prepares itemized checks
- takes orders for food or beverages
- checks patrons' identification for alcohol consumption
- serves food and beverages and prepares specialty dishes
- presents menus and makes recommendations
- cleans tables or counters after dining
- prepares hot, cold, and mixed drinks and chills bottles of wine
- stocks service areas with supplies
- adheres to personal hygiene, dress code and company policies
- reports to work on time
- knowledgeable of menu items including bar
- accurately reports tip income
- washes dishes as necessary
- orders products and supplies
- performs other related duties and special projects as required
